Help
Tiny Jaunt keeps a household’s outings with young children in one place: the ideas, a day for each, and the week. Share a link and it fills itself in, or type one in. Its library of classes, events and places covers south-east London so far. It is free.
Use it from Claude or ChatGPT
Connect Tiny Jaunt to your assistant and you can ask it what’s on, in your own words. You need a Tiny Jaunt account; connecting asks you to sign in, and makes one if you don’t have one.
Connect Claude
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Name it Tiny Jaunt, paste
https://mcp.tinyjaunt.co.uk/mcpas the URL, and add it. - Claude sends you to Tiny Jaunt. Sign in with the code we email you, choose a household if you belong to more than one, and select Allow.
Connect ChatGPT
Tiny Jaunt isn’t in ChatGPT’s directory yet, so it connects through developer mode. That needs ChatGPT on the web and a paid plan. ChatGPT moves these menus often, so a name may differ from what you see.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and select +.
- Name it Tiny Jaunt, enter
https://mcp.tinyjaunt.co.uk/mcpunder Connection, set Authentication to OAuth, and select Create. - Tiny Jaunt opens. Sign in, choose a household if asked, and select Allow.
- In a new chat, select + → Developer mode → Tiny Jaunt, then ask.
What it can and can’t see
A connected assistant can:
- search classes, events and places for young children near an area of south-east London such as SE23;
- open one result in full, including what its provider has said about siblings, free trials and access;
- check which permissions its connection has;
- take a free Tiny Jaunt ticket when you ask it to. That puts the outing on your week and gives the organiser your first name, last initial and how many of you are coming.
If you have added your children’s months of birth, results fit their ages. Tiny Jaunt applies that itself, and the assistant never sees the ages.
It is never sent your saved ideas, your week, your notes, your free days, your postcode, or your child’s name or age. The Allow page may list reading your ideas and your week; no tool does that today, so an assistant can’t.
Tiny Jaunt keeps a note of each request an assistant makes: its name, when, and whether it worked, never your words. The note is deleted after 90 days. What the assistant keeps is up to the company that makes it. The privacy page has the rest.
Things to ask
- “What’s on for a toddler near SE23 this Saturday?”
- “Find a class near SE13 on Tuesday, within two miles.”
- “Tell me more about the second one. Is there a free trial, and is it step-free?”
- “Get us a free ticket for that on Saturday: one child and two adults.”
An assistant only takes a ticket when you ask for one in so many words. Times come from providers’ own pages, so check before you go.
Disconnect
In Tiny Jaunt, open Settings → Connected assistants and select Disconnect. Its access ends at once. You can also remove it in Claude or ChatGPT. A connection you don’t use for 60 days ends on its own.
